A little experiment - go on, play it. Apologies to all hard-core Duran Duran fans

Inspired by nights spent awake, wishing only to indulge in sleep, spending hours oblivious to the world in a place of unchalengable comfort - yet all the while be in a land of dreams, leaving yourself to the mercy of your imagination - it made me realise i have an overactive subconcious. Mellows out towards the end. Ten tracks of rock, 90s, alternative & punk and alternative avant, including music by Belle & Sebastian, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Eels and Radiohead. Huge thanks to my great friend who drew this picture. <3

A little bit more 'good mood music' but this time with a hint of pop - AND I'M NOT ASHAMED !! (It is seriously awesome though) Thirteen [[it's lucky - Bitches]] tracks of alternative & punk, alternative dance, indie and indie rock, including music by Arctic Monkeys, Audioslave, The Buzzcocks, Neon Neon, Of Montreal, Kings Of Leon, Audioslave and Modest Mouse. Perfect for dancing to. The Brakes song is only there to a) make up numbers, and far more importantly to b) supply the lyric 'non-stop uber-rocking disco party' - the exact venue, mabye minus the 'disco', for playing such an amazing mix such as this !!

A little bit more 'good mood music' but this time with a hint of pop - AND I'M NOT ASHAMED !! [Which actually sums it up quite well for once.] But still - heres a random, mixed selection of all the stuff ive been listening to lately - new and old - which, apparently, isn't too dissimilar to the stuff i was listening to quite a while ago.

my 'listening to lately' for september
