Notes
Easy Listening or "orchestral pop" is a genre that was most popular from the 1950s to 1970s. It was middle-of-the-road (MOR) music featuring instrumental recordings of standards and popular music of the day. Easy listening music was often compared with elevator music such as Muzak.Billboard's Easy Listening chart eventually morphed into the Adult Contemporary chart by 1979, and continues to this day. Take a trip down memory lane and listen to these lush and sometimes humorous arrangements!

@davecydell Glad you enjoyed it! This music has sadly fallen out of favor. Radio stations once played these tracks as Easy Listening, catering to mainly the WWI and WWII generations in the same way people now listen to Adult Contemporary or Smooth Jazz. .

@Dwileck I'm very glad you enjoyed it! Thank you! This genre used to be very popular up to perhaps the early 80s or so when it lost favor and was replaced by the likes of Adult Contemporary and Smooth Jazz. It's refreshing to hear these great old tracks!
