Rhys tilted their head and looked down at the shorter boy with a curious smile. They squeezed his hand as they did, their smile softening to one much different than their normal toothy grin.

Rooney looked up at the elf for a moment, lips parted as if he was listening, then his cheeks turned red and he quickly averted his eyes. He squeezed the elf's hand tighter as he stared at their synchronized walking.
