Makka Pakka's Music Mix
Hey Miles, here are some of the trax we talked about. Juliana Hatfield's new album is definitely the best since "Beautiful Creature". "Electric Arguments" is a remarkably creative album from someone who usually shows every sign of being past it. Not sure about Fleet Foxes, they seem a bit too hung up on their Brian Wilson trip, but a few tracks sound good. About Alexis Taylor and Hot Chip I know absolutely nothing!

Imagine....
Eight tracks that sound a bit (or a lot) like John Lennon: Money Mark (Beastie Boys), Klaus Fluoride (Dead Kennedys) and Graham Dye (Scarlet Party, Alan Parsons Project) create an enticing idea of what might-have-been, if Lennon had lived (and if he'd got his Steel-and-Glass "edge" back). Neil Innes's Rutles parodies are almost too perfect. Can't decide if Dept of Eagles reminds me more of Lennon or Van Dyke Parks.

Stasera Shake!
Un ragù del pop italiano degli anni sessanta. Che sciagura che in questi giorni, nei bar i negozi italiani che visito, sento solo lo stesso pop inglese ....
