Thank you so much for this. It's the first of November in this our 2015 and already I want everything to close in on itself, on me. Perhaps that's the joy in the opening of winter──that everything is allowed to become smaller, especially the view from of the outside from borders between a winter cap and a scarf wrapped high. The weather's still in its high 10's (darn!) but there's longing for cozy the convalescence of the hoarfrost; such longing is eased with endings like Saint-Saens' The Swan. Bravo or whatever.
