This is cool. KPFA FM out of Berkely used to have a late night show that took calls, of any kind, and mixed them in to the feed. I played a bit of music on air that way, as did my buddy @scalibur. Neat concept. I wish I could remember the name of the show. I'll let you know, as KPFA archives their stuff, I may be able to turn you on to some of it. word

By the way, Exile's album "Radio" is a record of instrumental hip-hop made up entirely of sounds sampled from the FM dial.

Great idea! I used to listen to distant radio stations at night and thinking of the static as an integral part of the music.
