2010 was a strange year. Some of my most anticipated albums of the year were duds. Nothing topped Teen Dream by Beach House, which was the very first thing I heard in January. I fell in love with Euro-Pop, rediscovered ambient, and embraced gay songwriters like Owen Pallett. I saw Goldfrapp twice in concert, once by happenstance. I invested in nice headphones. I even learned to sing.
