haha "smooth static" is a good mix! i also thought it was appropriate both in terms of genre and representing korean(-american) talent.

i found out about soft lipa from following the blog, asianhiphoptimes.com. i also get my news about indie/underground chinese artists from edge.neocha.com. i'm always on the lookout for good chinese/mandarin music, because i know cpop gets a bad rap--but it definitely does exist! i'm glad that you were introduced to something new. :)
