is the original sound ever going to return? or is it permanently changed? likely it's the latter, with dubstep splintering off into a multitude of microgenres from dungeon and chillstep, to future garage and drumstep, to house and trap, to, yes, even that filthstep sound. is this a bad thing? for purists who fell in love with the first sounds, maybe. but for dubstep in general? who knows... you decide.
