Sometimes I try to figure what they might play in different dieselpunk nightclubs, though period jazz and swing will always do -- not forgetting that ancestor of rock'n'roll, Western swing. Sometimes it's a movie setting clinging to a song, or it just might be something from a retro-future that speaks of trains as the normal way to go home.
