Society's preconception of what it means to be an empowered female usually consist in said female behaving in a way that resembles the preconception of how society thinks an empowered male behaves. In few words, being a badass, being violent, loud and authoritarian.

In my opinion i don't think that's what empowerment really looks like, nor for females or males.

Empowerment resonates because it's against what everyone tells you you are.
