Absolutely - and even if you get a new iPhone - there is an app you should try to get - it's called what's app - basically a free app that allows you to chat with anyone who has it. You just need their number. It is quite awesome for friends who are in egypt for 2 1/2 years, and I haven't seen... All free. :)
