There have been at least 6 groups, and at least 2 solo artists, existing under the name 'Carmen'. 1) A melodic rock band, formed in Cheltenham, England in 2004. 2)An indie folk singer-songwriter based in London 3) A unique English-American band who combined flamenco music with progressive rock in the 1970s 4) 4 piece hardcore band from Rochester, Kent 5) Stage name of Carmen Gaspar aka Carmen Dorau, a German New Wave (neue deutsche welle) singer of the early 80's.
