Dalida is a romanisation of داليدا naming at least two singers: 1) A pseudonym Iolanda Cristina Gigliotti (b. 17 Jan 1933, Shoubra, Cairo, Egypt - d. 3 May 1987 - aka Arabic: يولاندا كريستينا جيجليوتي and following French naturalisation Yolanda Gigliotti), a singer of Italian origin, who made her career in France. She received 55 golden records and was the first songstress to get a diamond disc.
