I have been many places that I thought were beautiful at the time. At the time, I thought they were beautiful and important. At the time, I thought they were perfect. And then, I saw you and remembered you. And then, when I remembered the beautiful important perfect places I had been, they seemed to me to be empty and gray.
You will listen to my voice. The last time you will hear my voice recorded. The next time you hear my voice, it will be in person…I hope. If you are there. Maybe you won’t be. Maybe you will have left. And if you have left, then you are still free. And if you are free, that will be enough.
