Grindhouse is a term for a theater mainly showing exploitation films. It is named after theaters located on 42nd Street in NYC, where 'bump n' grind' dancing/striptease were featured. Grindhouses known for non-stop programs/B movies, consisted of a double feature/2 films were shown back to back.
