December is always a great time for music: year-end lists, Christmas carols and frigid temperatures keeping me inside with little else to do. It's also a good time for introspection and nostalgia, for pretty much the same reasons. This mix is quite narrative for me, but I think it speaks well to the general affect of December. Here's sixteen wintry tracks including music by Laura Veirs, Blitzen and Chad VanGaalen.
