love Franco Battiato and have just about every album he's ever recorded, from experimental to the commercial/pop stuff. I've lived in Seattle my entire life but have been to Italy a few times. Battiato's music transcends culture and language for me, though I do translate as much as I can, just to know. I have a thing for Italian music; Ennio Morricone, Area/Demetrio Stratos, Claudio Rocchi, Lucio Battisti, Museo Rosenbach, Umiliani, etc. Check out my Musica Futurista | Rock Progressivo Italiano mix.
