oh gosh i really zone out when i listen to this and i've never paid much attention to the lyrics. the song sounds so beautiful, but you're right it may have been a poor choice. i'm glad you enjoyed the mix though

I think it is really well done. However, while I love Strange Fruit as a song, its imagery was too much for me for a chill mix (I was in bed...so I started picturing all of these lynchings in the 30s or whenever). :) But that's just me..! Great mix.. and I didn't know some of it so that was a plus.
