pretty sure that is Brad Mehldau's version of River Man, not Paranoid Android, but a great cover regardless....
Hello kmysko,
I liked very much your jazz and this manner to mix my old fav masters with the young generation I admire so much.
Wonderful Radiohead-cover from Brad Mehldau, beautiful tune from Chet (my heroe) that I didn't know (it is rare :).
Thank you also for Mike Stern that I knew only on "Jean-Pierre" by Miles.
Merci pour le bon moment ! Sabine
Hi Sabine,
Thank you for your comment! I am a bit worried that this manner may caused some controversy, but then realized that it has special beauty.
I'm so glad to hear that you like Brad Mehldau - my favorite album is Largo, but his covers are amazing above all! Yes, and Chet Baker - silent, romantic hero. I appreciate your opinion! Have a nice day )
Yes, a special beauty ;o)
Think my fav album from Brad Mehldau is "Songs", The Art Of The Trio, Vol. 3 with Larry Grenadier & Jorge Rossy, + of course his cooperation on "Moodswing" in the fine Joshua Redman Quartet.
About Chet Baker, too much to say... I fell in love ♥ with him 20 years ago and am always in a romantic or melancholic mood with his special voice and trumpet.
Greetings.
8tracks goes where you go.
Nice set. Good to hear fine music like this, no skips needed!
