Thanks for this very nice mix! I particularly enjoyed hearing Stacey Earle's 'Makes Me Happy'. I have the studio recording and it's my favorite song on the album. I hadn't heard the live version before. I also didn't know Robinella had done a version of the old jazz standard 'Romance in the Dark.' Very nice and different. I love that song - I included Dinah Washington's older version on my 'An American Songbook' mix. :)

Thanks Kez! Stacey and Mark are so incredible live, and I've seen them many times. They have a double disc called "Must Be Live" which has the bulk of their music live. On the topic of covers, they also do an incredible rendition of the Beatles "Guitar Gently Weeps." I'll have to check out American Songbook. Thanks for educating me - I've enjoyed your blog.
