Let's toast to those days of escapism using old thoughts of picnics with good food and gas station wine, night times on the beach, the occasional shooting star, the feeling of our skin turning to liquid from staying in the pool too long, putting ribbons in our hair to soon replace with the neighbor's flowers.
Let's also hope with any luck we'll experience all that over again. I'll read more literature, laugh more, shed less tears, love more, dance more, and nothing will hurt. We can do it; we just have to toast and hope for the best, and find the will to make it happen.
