study mixes are supposed to be done with songs without lyrics, so you can concentrate on what you are reading and not what you are hearing

That's a matter of opinion. I dig playlists with words while I study, as long as they're calm.

laughing feels for me sometimes helpful to be more creative in answering questions so i put it in... It may not be helpful in every mood^^
