Ah, I found his track in that Jim Jarmusch movie Broken Flowers. Which was pretty good.

Mulatu Astatke! Catched the end of his show some years back at a world music festival. His music is deeply uncomfortable, but pretty good too. Bit like pepper hurts the tongue and livens the taste. But not when your tongue hurts already - I had a hangover from the night before and his music was screwing with my brain!

I actually knew one of those 25 bands! :D But I sure want to get to know another 20 of these bands. The solo-guitar in the middle and world-psych in the end kept me busiest, oh and Holy Coast was awesome too! ahh thanks mate!
