It's inspired a little less by the actual book "Interzone" and more the general idea of a semi-lawless International zone where writers, artists, musicians, junkies, revolutionaries, Marxists, social and sexual deviants all hang out and smoke opium and hashish and play chess while listening to live street music...or something. =)
