These are a variation on Glitch Hop & Dubstep styles but some are syncopated n have varying tempos or a variation or syncopation of the 2-step rhythm unlike most techno/house/dance music which is a 4/4 beat. Dubstep has become a focal point of much experimentation in the past 5+ years but is much older than that. I got into Dubstep & Glitch-Hop when I witnessed people dancing popping & locking or Tribal Fusion to it.
