To celebrate the return of Spring I wanted to focus mostly on orchestral sounds and chamber pop. Something to fit the feeling of anticipation people tend to feel towards the season.

Like the first mix, this playlist contains eight tracks by eight indie artists, all of which feature prominent strings. This mix takes a decidedly softer approach, with a selection of tracks that tend to be more laid-back. It features songs by Bon Iver, Rostam Batmanglij (of Vampire Weekend fame), and a project I’m associated with. Let these songs take you to a place far away from the cacophony of what plays on the radio.
