Inspired by the World Series and my buddy Ochotinko. This is music that reminds me of baseball – it's all North American, straight-forward music without much frills or pretentiousness
PS: wanted to include some Zooey Deschanel after she sang the Anthem in the WS this week, but her music was too cutesy, so I went for Annie Clark instead.

My last couple of mixes have been awfully heavy-handed, so here's a little 10 tracker to kick off spring. This is in tribute to those who are spring breaking OR those who have school this week OR those who don't go to school OR (in my case) people who are staying in Minnesnowta during spring break and are jealous of those visiting places with beautiful weather.
Includes Doomtree, Free Energy & Hockey Night.

This mix moves from honestly reverential songs about athletes to a bunch more tasteless, tangential, and crude. I wish there were a great Mike Tyson song in my collection, but alas...

This year's music selections at Target Field -- all Top 40 and classic rock, and no more local tunes -- have been a let down. But so has the team. The quality of play on the field hasn't merited "Massive Nights" or "I Will Dare." Here's some Minnesota music, though, that might be more appropriate this year.
