This is a mix of pure Hip Hop and Rap. Obviously a mix can only cover so much of the vibrant history of the genre, but it ranges from old school classics like Dr. Dre and Rakim, to some underground-ish like Atmosphere, Andre Nickatina, then to the newer era of my Idol Jay-Z and his music, stretching to more politically oriented rappers like the effervescent and forever immortal group The Roots to Lupe Fiasco. It's one 23 song medley of my favorites and a really good mix for Hip Hop beginners.

"come down!” they cried to him. “come down! come down!” silence filled the night, & the night filled the silence, while they waited for kafka to speak. “i can’t,” he finally said, with a note of wistfulness. “why?” they cried. stars spilled across the black sky. “because then you’ll stop asking for me." ten tracks including music by tigers jaw, mount eerie, and eric's trip.

The greatest time for music. If you want to find Nirvana go listen to every other playlist, they weren't the only grunge band.
