April 19 - Patriots' Day Mix

April 19th - Patriots' Day, the first shots fired at Lexington and Concord. Also the end of the standoff at Waco, TX, and the anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombings. Lot goin' on there. American history is full of fucked up shit. We can't separate the good from the bad. It's all "America." Keep a healthy mistrust of the government, and people who say they know "what's best for you." True patriotism means thinking for yourself.

A bunch of Irish Rebel songs ranging from era of the Easter Rising of 1916 to present struggles of the Irish people. Not getting political or anything but history is history and I'm hoping for a peaceful withdraw of England from Northern Ireland

Ten tracks including music by John Lennon, Dublin Battalion and Eir Og.

This was a fun one to make. Inspiration for it came from the contrast of another mix; this compilation focuses on the experience of choosing isolation instead of a confused and bitter origin. There's a strange relaxed part of it that becomes increasingly apathetic and then vulnerably twisted. Music includes Pete Yorn, Portastatic, and Dead Man's Bones
