This is the first half of my set from last night's regular Steampunk event at District VII in Detroit. I kept it mostly down tempo for the first part of the evening before my break. I cranked it up as the night progressed. I may post the later part of the set in the next few days.
Cover art is photo I took from the DJ booth, performer is Spilt Sugar from Weird Sisters Circus.

A little bit of everything: background music, Jpop, and Jrock. Expect both the hard AND the soft. Electrifying, isn't it?

This is the first of a series of mixes "Da Man:" that will be totally dedicated to part of the work of musicians that I truly appreciate. This first one is dedicated do the virtuoso guitarist from At the Drive-In and The Mars Volta.
Due his extended work this playlist doesn't contain all his collaborations and produced work, even though I think it will give you a good picture.
