We took a road trip this weekend. We heard some of these songs on the radio along the way, and the others would've been great to belt out at the tops of our lungs as we drove along into the sunset. Summer is on its way, and hopefully these songs from everyone from Aerosmith to the White Stripes will remind you of that, even if you encounter grey skies along the way...

In 1989, the Beastie Boys released their second album, "Paul's Boutique", a sonic collage of a whopping 105 song samples put together by the Boys and their producers, the Dust Brothers. It eventually became what many consider to be one of the greatest albums ever released.

Sadly, the world lost Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch on May 4, 2012. As a tribute, let's revisit the epic "Paul's Boutique" and mix up a healthy selection of some of the original songs later sampled on this masterpiece.
