Eighteen tracks from the 30's through the 70's, by some of the greatest artists of the Frank Sinatra era of music. This mix features "signature songs" by each artist - songs very closely identified with a particular singer. So if you want to get an idea of these artists, here they are singing their most famous songs. Some of the vocalists here had more than one signature song, but I chose only one per singer. Exactly one hour of music.

When I was six or seven years old, my Aunt Betty gave me a stack of 45 RPM records from a radio station. I’ll never know how she got them but they were a great source of entertainment to me. Most of the 45’s were labeled “Promotion Record” or ‘Special Disc Jockey Record” and as I child with a vivid imagination, I spent many hours playing these records while pretending to be a DJ.
I ripped these from the original vinyl, so you should expect pops, crackles, and generally monoriffic sound!

My friend once told me that, even though we play saxophone for the school, they are never used in actual songs that people actually listen to in their spare time. Well...here they are in lots of genres. Eleven tracks including music by Alexandra Stan, Architecture in Helsinki, and Caro Emerald.
