This mix showcases some of the pre-war (World War II) blues artists from the Mississippi Delta to Chicago. This twenty track mix includes music by Mississippi Sheiks, Mattie Delaney and Texas Alexander. The album cover is a photograph of W.C. Handy, who is widely considered the ‘Father of the Blues’.
