Week 8, 2010: You say Rex played in a Super Bowl, eh?

At some point, this thought ran through Shanahan’s mind: “Rex is the better option.”

So, some questions:

1) Was that pre- or post-stroke?

2) Is anyone really capable of believing such a thing?

3) As soon as he decided to put Rex in, did he decide to blackmail Brad Childress, asking him to to cut Moss on Monday to distract from this awful decision?

4) What will it take to get Rex out of our lives for good?

Week 13, 2009: 3 of 9 for 33 yards and a pick. Can we just make this his line whenever he gets put into a game, regardless of his actual results? It’s like the Mendoza line in baseball, but he always gets it so as not to confuse fans.

Week 8, 2009: 15 of 23 for 123 yards and two picks. Is Alex Van Pelt more likely to call good plays now that his moral equivalent is playing QB?
