It starts with a toe tap. Then your bum starts to wiggle. Next thing you know, you've lost control of your legs and your arms are waving in the air. Is this a medical condition? Earthquake? Ants in your pants?! No. It's just some booty-shakin' tunes, baby!
Goldfish, Bob Sinclar, Rinocerose... 27 tracks from the 2006-2012 era. House music with some funky electronic influences and some older classics thrown in for good measure.
Rip the sleeves off that sweater, party animal. This is serious.

To-morrow is Saint Valentine's day,
All in the morning betime,
And I a maid at your window,
To be your Valentine.
Then up he rose, and donn'd his clothes,
And dupp'd the chamber-door;
Let in the maid, that out a maid
Never departed more.

Some of my (grand)parents' vinyl and tape tunes I used to listen to as a little boy. One of dad's favourite radio broadcasts he often recorded was Oldies nach Wunsch ("Oldies by request"). It had the opener as theme. A gr8 jukebox including Édith Piaf, Harry Belafonte, Manfred Mann & Frank Sinatra. Good memories! Inspired by @sidekick's http://8tracks.com/sidekick/you-can-choose-your-friends following this journey into the past. Cover picture: Berlin beer garden, ca. 1935.
