It is the summer of 1965 on the Island of New Penzance. Music Supervisor Randall Poster has curated a selection of some of the favorite songs of the denizens of the island, all characters in Wes Anderson's new film, Moonrise Kingdom – in select theatres May 25th.

A mix I made for a friend a few years back. At the time, all the music on this mix was brand new to me and it was the process of making this mix, and finding the tracks that kick started my passion for Jazz. Hope you like it.

PS. The album names are not accurate.

I refuse to raise children who thinks the "music" played on the radio is what REAL MUSIC sounds like so from the moment they're in the womb, this is what they will listen to.
