In 1989, the Beastie Boys released their second album, "Paul's Boutique", a sonic collage of a whopping 105 song samples put together by the Boys and their producers, the Dust Brothers. It eventually became what many consider to be one of the greatest albums ever released.
Sadly, the world lost Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch on May 4, 2012. As a tribute, let's revisit the epic "Paul's Boutique" and mix up a healthy selection of some of the original songs later sampled on this masterpiece.

"i can't control what people think. i'm not trying to manipulate people's thoughts or sentiments. i write all the time. you have to experience life, make observations, and ask questions. it's machine-like how things are run now in hip-hop, and my ambitions are different."
