This sample pays tribute to the most famous of celtic harper of all, Turlough O’Carolan. O’Carolan, born 1670 in County Meath, was blinded by smallpox. He apprenticed on harp with Blind Mary, traveling Ireland composing pieces for his many patrons. His beautiful pieces are standard repertoire for harpers/harpists & are a joy to play.
