Sit back, load up Ultimate DooM and stick on this play list. Instant time travel back to the early 90's. In this play list I tried to pick music released between 1992 and 1994, considering DooM came out in '93. Annoyingly it seems I don't own some of the biggest and best albums from the era but I did what I could.

The play list is a little "mainstream" cuz I think that that's what most people would of been listening to when playing DooM.

Some nice and soul-soothing black metal masterpieces, plus a few death metal bonustracks mixed in there... pure headbanging, brain-crushing back-art mastery...

Over five hours of metal from the 1990's. From black metal to nü-metal, industrial to modern thrash and alternative groove, as well as early melodic death metal and metalcore.

Back then, music wasn't classified into a thousand sub-genres but if you listened to "metal" then this was what you where into. You'll hear plenty of well known names as well as the occasional obscure bands.
