47 of my favorite tracks from the OC. Lots of different sounds, includes Sufjan Stevens, Dandy Warhols, and Jeff Buckley
sorry for the weird album names

There is nothing apologetic about these songs. In your face, obnoxiously heavy tunes. Song writing showing severe signs of attention deficit disorder and vocals flirting with schizophrenia. Beautiful musical compositions littered with involuntary bursts of insanity leaving you dumbfounded. All while executed with a high level of technical precision and intelligence. Madness you say? These men are not mad but instead a mirror of a world gone mad.

just a playlist inspired by that 'scene'. not meant to be definitive in any way, just having some fun
featuring Rites of Spring, Embrace, Moss Icon and other lesser known bands associated with that time and place
