On the eve of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals between the Boston Bruins and Vancouver Canucks, I wanted to share some songs that remind me of my favorite sport and these 2 teams.

My last couple of mixes have been awfully heavy-handed, so here's a little 10 tracker to kick off spring. This is in tribute to those who are spring breaking OR those who have school this week OR those who don't go to school OR (in my case) people who are staying in Minnesnowta during spring break and are jealous of those visiting places with beautiful weather.

Finally got around to making my mix for this summer. All songs (but 1) were released this year.

To me, a summer mix has to be carefree, but there should be a thought nibbling at the back of your head that it's going to end. But in the meantime, you just have to enjoy the freedom that summer brings.

I also sort of envision this mix as the tale of a simple summer day: a trip to the beach perhaps; a party with friends, a slow wind down into exhausted goodbyes.
