I wish John Hughes could write this summer of my life. Since he can't, I'll settle for partying like it's 1985 with The Cure, REO Speedwagon, and Tears for Fears.

The complete soundtrack to Forrest Gump. This movie is easily one of my favorites and the soundtrack is legendary. No other movie uses music to capture the time period as well as this. From the 50s to the 80s, these 44 tracks will take you on a journey in music history. Feat the Doors, Skynyrd, Hank Williams, Hendrix and many more. Enjoy!

This is from a cassette put together in the late nineties to accompany a bus hubcap (pictured here) around the country (and beyond). It was to be carried around by various VW bus pilots and handed off. It was last seen in New Mexico in 2007. Twenty-six tracks including music by Van Morrison, Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks, and Cream.
