Number 2 for my favorite bands is the Fleet Foxes, so I made a playlist that embodies their style of mountain folk surrealism.
14 tracks starting and ending with my 2 favorites from the Fleet Foxes. Other artists include Seabear and Wye Oak.

Created in an airport in the middle of the night after a very long day of travelling to pass the time: A collection of songs to put you in a pleasant mood. Sit back, relax and enjoy, or good for use as background music to one of your favourite activities. Includes Mother Mother, Regina Spektor and Edward Sharpe among others

music to think, rest, or read by.
this happened to come together while I was reading The Sound and The Fury for the first time. I found that some tracks connected with the story pretty well.
Including Grizzly Bear, S. Carey, & Mumford and Sons.

When I was in high school I joined the rowing team. I'd pull myself from bed at 5am and drive with my friend down to the river and join the other girls in hefting our boat into the water. During our practice it would be silent except for the sound of our oars. We'd catch glimpses of determined joggers along the banks and one time I even saw a beaver. I always remember feeling cold, tired, but calm, content and alive at the same time. I miss that feeling.

"O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?"
A romantic tragedy about a certain pair of star-crossed lovers brought to you in an unusual form, by different voices. Not exactly depicting the original, but each of the 18 tracks signify something from the original (if possibly in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek, darkly humorous manner), including prologue and epilogue. Feel free to guess what each represents, brush up on some Shakespeare, or just enjoy the music.
