Eight tracks of live big band swing from 30's and 40's including music by Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington and others.
Live recordings are not the only bad quality sound. They are also unique improvisations, feeling of dancefloor life, a chance for modern dancers to imagine themselves dancing in Savoy Ballroom or in any other ballroom of swing era.

Eight repeats of the same tune? Yes - that's a little crazy, but Joshua (he who fit that old battle. Allegedly) has become one of my all-time favourite swing tunes. Or, to be more accurate, it's become many of my all-time favourite swing tunes. There's so many great arrangements and versions that I'm spoiled for choice these days when choosing one in a set. So here's a bunch that I like to DJ from time to time.

When the revelation comes
When the rich go out and work
When the air is pure and clear
When we all have food to eat
When our leaders learn to cry
Oh Lord I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in
