I had the chance to attend VOODOO 2011 festival in NOLA, and while it was great and really fun, it bothered me the lack of female artists. Ani Difranco was the only renowned female artist on stage, and she performed the first day, during the day, and in one of the secondary stages..
So, this remix is a celebration of female talent, just a little bit, just a taste of it :), and to remind us that we need to demand more female artists at big events
