Mbaqanqa, or music from the township of Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa, is characterized by a strong, propulsive beat, soulful vocals and crazy guitar/organ riffs. These 15 cuts come from my limited collection, but comprises some of the greats such as The Soul Brothers, Mahlathini and Sipho Mabuse. Wish I had more!
