Growing up in New York in the '80's, radio station WLIR (which later became WDRE) was practically the only place you could hear bands like The Smiths, The Cure, and The Pixies. Follow me down memory lane with this soundtrack to my adolescence.

Eternally in love with music from the late 70's and 80's. The post-punk scene offered the best music imaginable. It's a kind of beginner's guide to awesome bands, before digging deeper into their discography and deeper in the genre. This is really what I like the best.
