a dark and intimate bar on some out of the way street in whatever big city you love. cigarette smoke fills the air. you share a stiff brandy with a close confidant, saying nothing, as the trio on stage play soulful brooding jazz. it's the 1920s, the 1950s or present day. it's simply a feeling.

Even though Buttermilk Channel is all the way on the other side of Brooklyn, it's still one of my top spots to eat at in Brooklyn. Love that place. Here's to you Buttermilk.
