Traveling Tape

Sixteen tracks including music by Al Stewart, Asleep at the Wheel, and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Almost 90 minutes (C-90).

I made music mixes onto cassettes starting in 1972 or so. I didn't much like FM radio due to commercials, so I would listen to recorded music while driving (I lived 6 hours from college). This mix was made in 1980 (I think).

Music for the Trip

Seventeen tracks including music by Dave Mason, Fleetwood Mac, and Jeff Beck.

This is the first tape in my "formal collection" of music mixes. The cassette was made for a soul-searching trip that I took out west by myself in 1981 (that's when the tape was made). All of this music was dubbed from reel-to-reel. Sadly, one cannot dictate the sequence, as you cannot "shuffle play" a cassette.
